At least 38 Vistara flights originating from key cities had been cancelled this morning because the airline reeled below non-availability of pilots. As many as 15 flights taking off from Mumbai, 12 from Delhi and 11 from Bengaluru had been amongst these cancelled.

This comes after 50 Vistara flights had been cancelled yesterday and 160 had been delayed. Speaking to NDTV, passengers had yesterday complained of poor communication and hours-long wait on the airport and slammed the airline for harassing passengers.

Vistara mentioned in a press release yesterday that they’ve confronted a “significant number” of flight cancellations and delays previously few days “due to various reasons including crew unavailability”.
