The Zululand Observer is no different as the multi-media platform has remained relevant in our community for over 50 years. From humble beginnings with ZO founder Regina Anthony doing one weekly publication on her dining room table in 1969, it has grown to a stable of proud, professional award-winning products.
Today, the Zululand Observer publishes five audited publications: Zululand Observer Weekender, Zululand Observer Monday, Eyethu BayWatch, Zululand Eyethu and Northern Eyethu.
In 1996, the Darwain Printing Works was established to cope with the additional newspapers. The Zululand Observer is one of the most successful regional papers in South Africa and is acknowledged as the news and communication leaders of the region!
Today (28 September) is an opportune time to determine how newsrooms and their audiences worldwide are going about commemorating the day.
Watch the embedded YouTube video to see how the ZO operates.
