  • This healthy sooji sandwich is made without bread.
  • Here is an easy recipe to help you make it at home.

We all love sandwiches for breakfast. Even if we stuff the breads with everything healthy, your sandwich may still be fraught with fats from cheese or mayonnaise, which may not be too good for your weight loss diet. If you still like your sandwich creamy and luscious, make this sandwich without bread and keep indulging your cravings. You must be wondering if it is even possible; we also did not believe it till we saw this recipe video of healthy sooji sandwich sans bread.

This sandwich is a terrific fusion of pizza, sandwich and Idli. Yes, three of our favourite meals rolled into one. Isn’t it amazing!? Check out the recipe we found on YouTube channel ‘Cook With Parul’.

You just have to mix sooji, curd and water to form a smooth, not too-thick and not too-thin batter. Remember, sooji absorbs a lot of water, so add water accordingly. Sooji turns creamy when cooked, and curd adds its own creaminess, only healthier. Add veggies to the batter and spices of your choice. This recipe uses oregano and chilli flakes. Let the batter sit for 5-10 minutes for it to set.

You can make the sandwich in bread taster or on non-stick pan. You just have to pour the batter on the pan and let it cook and turn crispy. You’ll be surprised to see how it will look just like bread sandwich. If you are making the sandwich for kids, you can also top it with butter and grated cheese.
