In a throwback interview with a magazine, Deepika had said that she had never cheated or strayed when she was in a relationship. However, the same was not the case with her then-partner, Ranbir Kapoor. According to her, despite everyone around her telling her that Ranbir was still straying, she was foolish enough to give him a second chance. She eventually caught him red-handed.

The actress also went on to add that she gives a lot in a relationship and nothing really expects much in return. However, infidelity is definitely a deal-breaker for her.

Despite having a bitter past, Ranbir and Deepika have not only managed to keep their relationship cordial professionally but also personally. Both the actors have moved on in their personal lives. While Deepika is happily married to Ranveer Singh today, Ranbir is currently in a steady relationship with Alia Bhatt. The two couples are often seen attending events and hanging out together.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring ladylove Alia Bhatt in lead roles. He also has Luv Ranjan’s untitled next with Shraddha Kapoor.
