After a weekend where some tracks lost to Mother Nature and few got their show in, Andrew Yoder led the final two laps of the limited-late model feature Friday at Clinton County to claim his third win of the season at the speedway.
Noah Jensen picked up his first win of the year in the pro stock division and Lock Haven’s Jeffrey Weaver won the 270s. Josh Beamer won the 600s and Blake Snyder earned a victory in the four-cylinder division. Both were repeat winners.
At Williams Grove, a total of 74 sprint cars jammed the Williams Grove Speedway pit area Friday for a rare three-division open wheel program at the track that saw Brent Marks score the 410 sprint car win. Derek Locke took the 358 sprints and Steve Drevicki won the USAC East 360 sprint main.
At Hummingbird Speedway, Cody Schultz took the checkered flag in the modified class and Dale Zimmer came out on top in the sportsman class in their combined, 15-lap feature. Other feature winners on the night included Dennis Harrison Jr. in the pure stocks, Rich Wicker in the semi-late models, Brandon Connor in the street stocks, Dave Smail in the four-cylinders and Kenny Schaffer in the super-late models. Smail’s win was the first of his career while Harrison Jr., Wicker, Connor, and Schaffer all found victory lane for the first time this season.
At Selinsgrove, Rick Eckert took the lead from Gregg Satterlee and went on to win the Ultimate Northeast super-late model show Saturday night, scoring $3,000 for his second win of the season at the track. Garrett Bard took the win in the 20-lap 305 sprint main, getting by Kyle Keen for the win while Will Brunson took the win in the 12-lap roadrunner main to close the night.
At Hidden Valley it was Max Blair picking up the late-model feature win Saturday. New winners included Steve Lewis in the small-block modifieds, Williamsport’s Rob Williams in the four-cylinders and Dave Guss in the visiting Laurel Highlands 305 sprints.
