Tiruchy: Fulfilling a much-awaited demand, the Tamil Nadu authorities has allotted round 25 medical doctors to Tiruchy metropolis in an effort to replenish the posts at city main well being centres (UPHCs) and yet-to-be-inaugurated newly constructed well being and wellness (H&W) centres within the metropolis.

The well being division of the Trichy City municipal company has reportedly welcomed the federal government’s transfer of allotting 25 medical doctors to town, as they additional identified the necessity for extra medical doctors. 

After the COVID pandemic, the municipal company determined to determine 36 H&W centres throughout town. Each of the 18 UPHCs was allotted 2 H&W centres inside a two-kilometre radius offering first-level look after emergencies and trauma. We expect the state government to allot more staff.” 

Currently, round 18 medical doctors work on the 18 city main well being centres (UPHCs) within the metropolis.
