You can golf in this front yard or swim in the back. You can scoot chairs up snug to the cabana fire pit or spread out on the terrace around the outdoor fireplace and TV.

You can shoot baskets on the supersize driveway or lie on the sun deck and hear the waterfall splash.

Or, when the weather doesn’t suit outdoor fun, you can head for this house’s walkout lower level. Here you’ll find one big, open party room more than 10 feet high. You’ll find a golf simulator, a games space, a party place big enough for dancing, a full kitchen and a big bar.

This house is full of special details planned by the couple who built it — both entertainment and visual effects.

Take the front yard putting green. It’s much more than a flat green with one hole. It has hills and contours and six holes cut in.

It has sand traps on three sides and tee-off boxes on two sides, so you can chip toward the green from above or below.

It’s landscaped with clumps of decorative grasses and a small picturesque iron bridge. Flowers surround it and change colors during the season “Like at Amen Corner in Augusta,” the owner said.

Similar details carry to the inside the house, especially stone and original wrought iron. The iron is used lavishly around curving stairs, along balconies, in fences, in the outdoor iron bridge. The 12-foot front door is made of iron; so is the wide, electronic front gate.

The main floor is all ranch style with no second floor above it, so the house footprint spreads out widely. Near one side, a wide porte cochere conceals the doors to four garage bays and opens access to the backyard.

The largest space in this main floor is the long family room attached to the long kitchen, a total of 56 feet. A two-way fireplace divides these down the middle. This space is gracious with neutral tones, stone and tile floors and unusual metal light fixtures.

The owners’ suite is on this main level, along with two more full suites. Each has a full bath and a walk-in closet.

The party-ready lower level walkout is a festival mix of materials. As a formal tone,  it holds the base of the spiral wrought iron stairs. From the casual palette, it has a ceiling of barn wood.

Around the sides, lower walls are stacked stone. Upper walls are sheets of shiny textured metal, tacked down with strips of more metal. Floors are stone tile, ceramic tile and wood.

The lower level wine room is a stone and wrought iron showpiece. Its arched door is formed from wrought iron grapes and grapevines, inside a frame of textured steel. The room’s interior is a pattern of bricks with individual wrought iron holders for each bottle of wine.

In order to create more lower level space, the owners dug out lower levels beneath the two garages. One of these is an extension of the entertainment area; the other is used for storage.

The walkout from this lower level comes out at a covered terrace that has a big outdoor fireplace and TV screen. Beyond that is the pool, the hot tub and the cabana. On the terrace above this lower level, the same spot has another fireplace.
