The earthquake occurred close to the western temple city of Jumla in Nepal, at round 11:32 pm as per the NCS. The epicentre was situated at Jajarkot, which is roughly 250 miles northeast of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, based on the National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center.
