Major throwback alert. Courtesy: AR Rahman‘s son AR Ameen. All we can say is that the frame is pure gold. The photo showcases his little self with his father, the music maestro AR Rahman. In the snap, AR Rahman hugs his son from behind, and the father-son duo strikes a pose for the camera. Sharing the oh-so-adorable photograph, AR Ameen went for a short yet meaningful caption. The singer has dropped three emoticons – one heart eyes, a red heart as well as an infinity symbol.

It is not the first time that AR Ameen has shared an unmissable throwback. On Father’s Day, he shared a bunch of pictures from his childhood days along with a heartfelt message. He wrote, “Happy Father’s Day, daddy…A father like you is a gift from the almighty I’m blessed to have you as my dad.” The note was accompanied by a hashtag that read “I love you, 3000.” Note: We hope you got the Marvel connection.

Remember the time when AR Ameen sent the Internet into a tizzy by sharing an image featuring him, his father AR Rahman, and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan? This photograph was clicked at actress Nayanthara and filmmaker  Vignesh Shivan’s wedding. AR Ameen allowed the photo to do all the talking and skipped the caption.

Vignesh Shivan had also shared pictures with AR Rahman and AR Ameen from the wedding album. He also wrote a thank you note for AR Rahman. It read, “With the most divine, purest human being AR Rahman, sir 🙂 for making this day so blessed for us. Thank you, sir. Thank you dearest AR Rameen for making the day look cute.”

AR Rahman got married to Saira Banu in 1995. The couple are parents to three children – daughters Khatija and Raheem, and son Ameen.

AR Rahman has two Academy Awards, in 2009, and two  Grammy Awards, in 2010, to his name.
