South star Vikram on Monday mentioned he referred to as Anurag Kashyap “immediately” after he got here to know the filmmaker had tried to contact him him for Kennedy.

In a latest interview with information outlet Film Companion, Kashyap mentioned that Vikram, whose actual title is Kennedy John Victor, was his first option to play the titular murderer in his newest movie, however the actor “never responded”.

Kashyap, currently attending the Cannes Film Festival where Kennedy is set to premiere under the Midnight Screenings section, went on to cast Rahul Bhat as the lead.
