Gujranwala: An IndiGo flight , certain to Ahmedabad from Amritsar, strayed into Pakistan , as a consequence of bad weather .

The flight went as much as Gujranwala, earlier than heading again to Indian airspace on Saturday evening.

According to flight radar, the Indian aircraft with a floor pace of 454 knots entered north of Lahore at about 7:30 p.m. and returned to India at 8:01 p.m. A senior official of the Pak Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) mentioned that it was commonplace because it was “internationally allowed” in dangerous climate circumstances, IANS mentioned quoting a media report.

Meanwhile, a number of flights have been diverted and delayed as a consequence of poor visibility at airports in mild of an alert issued by the CAA.

The CAA spokesman mentioned that it had prolonged the climate warning for Lahore until 11:30 p.m. on Saturday because the visibility on the Allama Iqbal International Airport was 5,000 metres, in keeping with Dawn.

A variety of flights heading to Lahore have been diverted to Islamabad as a consequence of poor visibility. Meanwhile, a PIA flight from Abu Dhabi to Islamabad was diverted to Multan. A Jeddah-Lahore flight was additionally diverted to Multan.

In May, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight entered Indian airspace and stayed there for almost 10 minutes as a consequence of heavy rainfall in Pakistan.

The flight, PK248, was coming back from Muscat on May 4 and was making an attempt to land on the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. However, heavy rainfall made it tough for the pilot to land the Boeing 777 plane.
