Air India plans to refurbish legacy wide-body fleet Boeing B787-8, B777 plane : The Tribune India

Full service service Air India on Thursday stated it plans to refurbish its legacy wide-body fleet, comprising 27 Boeing B787-8 and 13 B777 plane at an funding of USD 400 million.

This refurbishment will see an entire overhaul of present cabin interiors, together with the addition of newest technology seats and in-flight leisure throughout all lessons, Air India stated in an announcement.

In addition, the refurbishment will see the introduction of a premium financial system cabin on each fleets, it stated and added that the primary class cabin can even be retained on the 777s.

The airline stated it has engaged London-based product design corporations, JPA Design and Trendworks, to help with the cabin inside design components of the refurbishment programme.
