Ingredients:

For salad:

  • 1/2 cup Grated Beetroot
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Plain curd
  • Pinch of Black pepper powder
  • Pinch of chaat masala
  • Pinch of coriander leaves

For tadka:

  • 1/4 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • Pinch of asafoetida (hing)

Method:

1. Take boiled and grated beetroot in a bowl. Add curd into the bowl and blend nicely.

2. Now sprinkle black pepper and chaat masala. Add a tablespoon of coriander leaves and blend once more.

3. Prepare the tadka by heating oil in a tadka pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds or jeera, hing and curry leaves. Let it sputter in a minute or two.

4. Transfer the tadka to the salad bowl and provides it a combination.
