Amazfit GTR 3 Pro, GTR 3, and GTS 3 have been launched in global markets. The last two are the successors to last year’s GTR 2 and GTS 2 respectively. The GTR 3 Pro is a new variant in the lineup and packs more premium features.
The latest generation Amazfit smartwatches packs upgrades and new features compared to their predecessors. The Xiaomi-backed company has also announced a new Zepp OS with a revamped user interface. Read on to know what the smartwatches offer out of the box.

The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro and GTR 3 come with a circular dial with the former featuring a 1.45-inch display and the latter offering a 1.39-inch screen. Both variants come with an AMOLED panel, 1,000 nits peak brightness, 150 watch faces, and an Always-on display mode. The latest-generation smartwatches sport aluminum alloy cases with silicone straps and two physical buttons on the right side, with one of them being a classic navigation crown. Both the Pro and standard variants are 5ATM water-resistant and can also track heart rate while swimming.
On the health front, the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro and GTR 3 are equipped with a 24×7 heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, and stress levels. Amazfit says that users can test all four metrics in one tap and get the results in 45 seconds. The smartwatches also feature menstrual cycle tracking. The GTR 3 Pro and GTR 3 come with support for up to 150 outdoor sports as well as eSports mode while playing video games. Both devices are capable of automatically recognising 8 sports modes and also feature a VO2 Max sensor.
Both the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro and GTR 3 come with built-in Alexa as well as an offline voice assistant. The former also packs 2.3GB onboard storage for loading memory and is also equipped with a speaker for making and receiving calls on the smartwatch. They are equipped with GPS and powered by a 450mAh battery. The former is capable of lasting up to 12 days while the latter is claimed to deliver 21 days of life under typical usage.
As for the Amazfit GTS 3, it features a rectangular dial and a larger 1.75-inch display with HD resolution, 1,000 nits brightness, and a 341 ppi pixel density. It offers 100 watch faces and an always-on display, as well as Alexa support. The Amazfit GTS 3 comes with the same health-related features as the standard and Pro variants of the GTR 3. However, the former is backed by a smaller 250mAh battery cell that offers the same 12 days of typical usage as the GTR 3 Pro.
The latest generation Amazfit smartwatches support Bluetooth 5.1 and are compatible with Android and iOS devices. The Pro variant also packs WiFi connectivity. All three wearable devices run on the brand’s Zepp OS that offers 60fps support for smooth and faster animations. It comes with 10 pre-loaded mini-apps including a calculator, calendar, and more. Amazfit says that Zepp OS will offer better performance and power consumption. The brand will soon offer a web-based app developer kit for developers to design their own watch faces and apps for new smartwatches.
Amazfit GTR 3 Pro, GTR 3 and, GTS 3 pricing and availability
The Amazfit GTR 3 and GTS 3 are priced at $180 (~Rs 13,558). The former is offered in Thunder Black and Moonlight Grey while the latter comes in Graphite Black, Ivory White and Terra Rosa colours. The GTR 3 Pro carries a price tag of $229 (~Rs 17,237) and can be availed in Black and Brown colours. All three smartwatches will be available for purchase in the US, UK, Italy, Spain, France and China first.
Amazfit has confirmed that all three smartwatches will be launched in India soon.
