Actor Kim Cattrall will reportedly reprise her iconic position as Samantha Jones within the season two finale of And Just Like That…, Max’s revival sequence of HBO’s Sex and the City.

According to leisure portal Variety, this seems to be a one-off look as of now for the actor, who had repeatedly stated she will not return to the franchise.

Cattrall, who performs the sex-positive PR skilled Samantha, will solely seem in a single scene of And Just Like That… The 66-year-old filmed her dialogues on March 22 in New York City, with out seeing or talking with stars of the sequence, together with Sarah Jessica Parker, or with showrunner Michael Patrick King.

Cattrall’s choice to not reprise her well-known character in a future third movie on Sex and the City led to a public fallout with co-star Parker. Insiders stated, within the scene, Samantha, who within the present has moved to London, may have a cellphone dialog with Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw.

In the primary season of And Just Like That, Carrie engaged with an estranged Samantha over textual content, and within the finale, the duo made a plan to see one another with a view to reconcile.

A consultant for Cattrall did not reply to requests for remark. HBO’s streamer Max didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
