Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy sustained accidents on Saturday night after stones have been hurled at his convoy throughout an election marketing campaign in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijaywada.

Meanwhile, YSRCP leaders alleged that the TDP was behind this “attack”.

Political Leaders Condemns Attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his X account and wished for the Chief Minister’s speedy restoration and good well being.

TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu additionally condemned the assault on the chief minister the rally on Saturday. Taking to X, he mentioned, “I strongly condemn the assault on @ysjagan. I request the @ECISVEEP to provoke an neutral and unbiased inquiry into the incident and punish the accountable officers.”

BRS leader K.T Rama Rao strongly condemned the attack on the Chief Minister. Taking to his official X account, Rao said, “Violence has no place in democracy and I hope strict preventive measures are put in place by ECI.”

YSRCP chief Hafeez Khan additionally spoke on the assault on CM and mentioned that TDP is behind this cowardly act as a result of they can’t bear to see the huge response that CM Jagan is receiving throughout his Memantha Siddham Yatra of their so referred to as bastions (Vijayawada).

CM Reddy’s Campaign Ahead of LS Polls

Reddy has embarked on a 21-day election campaign bus tour from Idupulupaya in Kadapa district to Icchapuram in Srikakulam district.

Elections for the 175-member Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled on May 13 and the counting of votes is slated for June 4.
