Popular actor of yesteryears Anjana Bhowmick died right here on Saturday, household sources mentioned. She was 79. Anjana who had been ailing for a while died at a non-public hospital right here at round 10:30 am, they mentioned. She was admitted to the hospital because of respiratory issues on February 16. She had been bedridden because of geriatric issues in current months.

She is survived by daughters Nilanjana Sengupta and Chandana Bhowmick.
