Several filmmakers have expressed their wish to showcase Sushant Singh Rajput‘s life on the big screen. The film producers’ associations have been flooded with applications to register the titles of the movies based on the late actor’s life.

Now, SSR‘s father K K Singh’s lawyer Vikas Singh has stated that no one can make any film, serial or a book can be written on Sushant’s life without his father’s consent. The senior advocate added that if anyone is going ahead with a project without consent, legal action will be taken against them.

Meanwhile, among the applications that the associations have received, include titles like ‘Sushant’, ‘Sushant Singh Rajput’ and ‘Sushant Singh Rajput: Biography’.

It may be recalled that TOI had reported about applications of film titles on the actor’s name were received by various film associations.

Also, an upcoming film, “allegedly” based on his life, has run into trouble after its posters were released recently. Titled ‘Shashank’, the movie is helmed by filmmakers Sanoj Mishra and Marut Singh.

Reportedly, the film is said to revolve around the mysterious death of a young star and the nepotism in Bollywood.

On the other hand, SSR’s tragic death case is getting murkier with new claims and allegations being made almost every day. Both Sushant’s family and Rhea Chakraborty‘s side have made some claims and counterclaims against each other.

The case is currently being investigated by the CBI while the Enforcement Directorate is probing into money laundering charges against Rhea. The Narcotics Control Bureau is looking into the drug angle in the case.
