Holiday market

The second annual Crafty Women Holiday Market and Bake Sale for Soroptomist of Whitefish will probably be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to three p.m. on the Whitefish Community Center positioned at 121 East Second Street.  

All kinds of arts and crafts made by native girls will probably be prepared for vacation buyers. Delicious baked items will probably be offered with the proceeds going to Soroptomist’s many packages that profit space girls and women. For extra data, contact Jan Metzmaker at 406-260-6443.

Banff Film Festival Tour 

Fun, fascinating, worldwide, outside sport and cultural movies which can be inspiring and breathtaking of their magnificence and messages will probably be proven as a part of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour on Dec. 5-6 at Flathead Valley Community College.  

Each night of movies is round two and half hours with six or seven totally different movies every evening.  This is an annual occasion with proceeds going to the Flathead Nordic Backcountry Patrol, sponsored by native companies, with a big bake sale by the Glacier Nordic ski program.  Raffles and door costs as effectively.

Glacier Symphony celebrates season with ‘Handel’s Messiah’

Glacier Symphony Orchestra and Chorale will present a musical celebration of the which means of Christmas with two performances of “Handel’s Messiah.”

Performances are Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. 

Both performances will probably be on the Wachholz College Center on the Flahtead Valley Community College campus. Extraordinary skilled voice soloists, 89-member chorale and orchestra will wow with Handel’s inspiring oratorio. Kick off the vacation season with this traditional Glacier Symphony piece celebrating Christ’s Nativity story.
