AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd on Wednesday stated it has obtained an approval from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for the most cancers drug trastuzumab deruxtecan for remedy of metastatic breast most cancers.

The firm stated it has been granted approval to import and market trastuzumab deruxtecan used within the remedy of choose “HER-2 positive” breast most cancers.

Globally, trastuzumab deruxtecan is approved in more than 40 countries, including the US, for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable or metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer,” AstraZeneca Pharma India stated in a press release.
