At least 78 individuals have died and dozens are feared lacking off the coast of southern Greece after a fishing boat carrying migrants capsized and sank, authorities stated Wednesday.

A big search and rescue operation was launched within the space. Authorities stated 104 individuals have been rescued thus far following the nighttime incident some 75 kilometres southwest of Greece’s southern Peloponnese area.
