The Chehre actor, who was in news last year after the death of her actor-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput, said she is not going to be a part of Bigg Boss 15.

Rhea, who was rumoured to have been offered Rs 35 lakh per week for the show, wrote on her Instagram story: “I believe there are rumours about me being a part of the TV show Bigg Boss, this is just to clarify that there is no truth to these rumours. I am not a part of Bigg Boss.”

A source told ETimes exclusively earlier this week that Rhea was offered Rs 35 lakh per week to be a part of Bigg Boss 15 but she refused.

Rhea wants to concentrate on web shows and her Bollywood career.

Earlier, talking to ETimes in an exclusive interview, Chehre director Rumi Jafry had said that whatever happened with Rhea will not affect his film.

He had said, “I don’t think the film will suffer because of Rhea’s personal life controversy. I will admit that I felt it would have affected the film, had it released last year. Everyone knows what a furore the media caused with the whole Sushant Singh Rajput case and Rhea’s arrest. Last year, she was a ‘witch’, a ‘golddigger’ and whatnot; this year she was declared as the ‘most desirable woman’. This shows there has been a change in the perception of people. So, I really don’t feel the film will have an adverse effect because of what happened with Rhea last year.”
