With the competition in the TWS earbuds segment now tougher than ever, Bose is now reentering the market with two products: Bose QuietComfort Earbuds and Sport Earbuds for $279 and $179, respectively. These were formerly known as the Noise Canceling Earbuds 700 and 500, respectively. The new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, promise to deliver all the ‘quiet’ of Bose around-ear headphones in a more trendy TWS form factor. The Bose Sports Earbuds are essentially a successor to SoundSport Free launched in 2017.

According to the audio equipment giant, these are designed for ‘comfort and stability’ through most intense workouts. Both the TWS devices would be available starting September 29 and pre-orders have begun late Thursday.

It is not yet known if and when these products would make their way into India.

The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds is the company’s new pair of TWS buds with active noise cancellation (ANC). Known The QuietComfort Earbuds essentially rival the Apple AirPods Pro when it comes to the pricing and positioning. In terms of specs, the TWS buds feature Qi wireless charging as well as USB Type-C for the case and a promise to offer up to six hours of battery life on the buds. For connectivity, the buds use Bluetooth 5.1, with support for both SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. There is support for the Bose Music app too.

The new Bose Sport Earbuds come with IPX4 rating for water resistance and come with a comfortable and snug fit for use during exercise-based activities. Similar to the premium QuietComfort Earbuds, the Sport Earbuds, in terms of specs, feature Qi wireless charging as well USB Type-C for the case and a promise to offer up to five hours of battery life on the buds.
