Former Australia leg-spinner Bryce Mcgain has slammed England coach Brendon McCullum for displaying poor management and sportsmanship after his aspect’s loss on the Lord’s.
“Brendon McCullum’s comments were disappointing, saying that we’re not going to greet them and have a beer with them after the game at any time soon,” McGain instructed SEN WA Breakfast.
Speaking to BBC after the match McCullum has mentioned that the dismissal of Jonny Bairstow was “incredibly disappointing” and furher mentioned he “can’t imagine we’ll be having a beer any time soon” with the Australian workforce.
“When you become older and more mature, you realise the game and the spirit of it is something you need to protect,” McCullum mentioned.
“You should make selections within the second, and so they can have an affect on video games and other people’s characters.
“By the letter of the legislation, he’s out. Jonny was not attempting to take a run. It is a kind of troublesome ones to swallow and also you have a look at the small margins, it’s extremely disappointing.
“But lots of people will have their opinion on both sides of the fence. The most disappointing thing is that it will be the most talked about event of a great Test match.”
McGain, who has performed one Test for Australia mentioned, England are clearly wanting rattled with each their captain and coach speaking concerning the “spirit of the game.”
“I feel that simply reveals poor management and possibly unhealthy sportsmanship as properly. Ben Stokes speaking concerning the spirit of the sport and the coach main that approach.
