MEERUT: Dr Vinod Kumar, 55, director, promotion directorate, Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre, has performed a task within the manufacturing and profitable touchdown of Chandrayaan-III on Wednesday night. Kumar’s success has definitely impressed youths of his village.
Hemant Sharma, 21, a resident of Bhindor, and a final-year BSc pupil at a Harchand Degree College mentioned he aspires to change into like Dr Kumar and study area expertise.
“After completing BSc, I will join Master’s in Computer Application (MCA) and learn space science for inventions,” Sharma added.
Another pupil from Bhindor, Sachin Sharma, 19, a category 11 pupil at Jahangirpur PIC School, mentioned his curiosity in the direction of figuring out extra about area and satellites has acquired deeper.
“I always used to wonder what happens there in space and after knowing that a scientist who played a big role in the Chandrayaan-III operation is from our village, I will look for courses on the subject to pursue after my 12th,” mentioned Sachin.
Shruti Kaushik, 20, a pupil pursuing commencement from a personal faculty, mentioned, “After Kalpana Chawla, our new inspiration is Dr Kumar, and we want to do something that will make the name of our village famous.”
