A bus caught fireplace after colliding head-on with a truck on a freeway in central India, killing a minimum of 13 folks, police mentioned on Thursday.

Twelve bus passengers died within the blaze and the truck driver was killed by the affect of the accident in Guna district in Madhya Pradesh state on Wednesday night time, mentioned police officer Anoop Bhargava.

Another 16 folks suffered burns or bone fractures and had been taken to a hospital, Bhargava mentioned.

The area is almost 900 kilometers (565 miles) south of New Delhi.
