Is the Melbourne Home Entertainment Expo scheduled for July 9th – 11th 2021, at the Pullman Convention and Events Centre, in Melbourne going to have to find a new home after administrators were appointed?

Yesterday administrators were called in at prominent Sydney-based real estate fund manager iProsperity Group who also own Pullman Hotel’s.

iProsperity, led by Michael Gu, bought the 419-room Pullman on the Park Hotel in Melbourne in 2018. It also owns an office building in Sydney slated for hotel redevelopment.

Barry Wight, Jeremy Nipps and Alan Walker of restructuring advisory firm Cor Cordis were appointed voluntary administrators of 13 iProsperity entities on Thursday.

They include i-Prosperity, iProsperity Australia, iProsperity Group Holdings Limited, i-Prosperity Group Pty. iProsperity Holding Group, G&H Partners Co (also in receivership), Cornerstone Capital Investment Group, iPG Fund Services, i-Prosperity Capital Management, i-Prosperity Capital, iProsperity Cornerstone Management and IPG Asset Services.
