Rajouri/Jammu: A baby was killed and 4 others injured in an IED explosion on Monday close to the home of one of many victims of the suspected terrorist assault in Jammu and Kashmir’s Dangri village, officers mentioned.

On Sunday night, suspected terrorists opened hearth on three homes within the space in Rajouri district killing 4 civilians and injuring six, in line with officers .

“The (improvised explosive device) blast has taken place near the house of the first firing incident. Five people were injured. One child succumbed to injuries and another is critical,” Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu, Mukesh Singh mentioned.

The injured have been take to a hospital, he mentioned, including that one other suspected IED has been noticed.

There had been a number of individuals, together with the kin of the Sunday assault’s sufferer, in the home when blast befell between 9 to 9.30 am, eyewitnesses mentioned.

“I strongly condemn the cowardly terror attack in Rajouri. I assure the people that those behind this despicable attack will not go unpunished. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families”, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha mentioned in tweet.
