IMPHAL, Oct 15: A one day cleanliness drive was conducted at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex yesterday organised by the Regional Office Imphal, Field Operations Division of National Statistical Office, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
The cleanliness drive was conducted as a part of Special Swacchta Campaign 2.0, Government of India under the aegis of DDG of the Regional Office, Mayanglambam Modhu chandra.
During the drive, the staff carried out cleanliness activities at Khuman Lampak Sports complex.
Speaking at the sidelines, Mayanglambam Modhuchandra said that the office is also contributing in the ongoing Special Swacchta Campaign 2.0.
He maintained that such campaigns initiated by the Government of India will not only keep the environment clean but will also help in keeping the people healthy.
He appealed to all to actively participate in these campaigns for a cleaner and healthy environment.
