In men’s 200m backstroke, India’s Srihari Nataraj has come up with a timing of 2:00.84 and is placed ninth in the qualifying. He has not qualified for the final as of now and has been placed in the reserve list

The clean and jerk round has started and Punam will lift 116kg in her first attempt on this round.

India have lost their round 1 game of women’s pairs lawn bowls to New Zealand. The final scoreline was 18-9 in New Zealand’s favour.

In long jump, Murali Sreeshankar qualifies for the final with a huge jump of 8:05m.
