Commonwealth Games, Day 7, Live Updates: Boxers Amit Panghal and Jaismine Lamboriya have assured India at least two bronze medals with wins men’s flyweight and women’s lightweight quarter-finals. Two other boxers are also in action in the quarter-finals. All of them will be assured of medals if they enter the semi-finals. In athletics, Hima Das has entered the semi-finals of women’s 200m while Manju Bala entered the final of the women’s hammer throw event. Shuttlers PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth have won their respective badminton singles Round of 32 matches. The Indian contingent so far has won 18 medals in the ongoing Commonwealth Games, including five gold. On the seventh day of the ongoing event, stars like Dipika Pallikal (squash) will also be in action. Also, the men’s hockey team is  facing Wales, and it will be very crucial in terms of their chances of progressing to the semi-finals. Later on, Murali Sreeshankar will also be in action in the men’s long jump finals. He is a prime contender for a medal as he qualified for the final with the best jump among all competitors in the qualifying round. In table tennis individual events, all top stars are playing.
