You won’t believe how easy it is to make dhaba-like paneer at home. Paneer makhani too can be easily made with the right recipe, and we already have it. You just have to cook tomato gravy with ginger, garlic and chilli. Add paneer, kasoori methi, red chilli powder and salt. Finally, top with cream and serve it with a blob of butter.

Here’s the step-by-step recipe of paneer makhani:

PREP TIME: 10 minutes COOK TIME: 20 minutes SERVES: 2

Ingredients:

250 gm paneer
2 tbsp ginger garlic minced
1 tsp chilly chopped
1 cup tomato gravy
1 tsp kasoori methi
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp cream
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp butter
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add minced ginger garlic and chopped chilli.
2. Add the tomato gravy and cook for 4-5 mins.
3. Add the paneer and stir well.
4. Add the kasoori methi, red chilli powder and salt.
5. Finish off with the cream and butter.
