USA/MEXICO: Copeland is to relocate its CRi reciprocating compressor manufacturing from its plant in Reynosa, Mexico, to its present compressor manufacturing facility in Atit, India.

The manufacturing of CR, CS, and CF fashions relocated to the India manufacturing facility will finally fulfill all US, North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia calls for for these merchandise. 

Scroll manufacturing operations on the Reynosa plant, which first opened in 2007, will proceed unchanged.

Reynosa manufacturing will proceed for the preliminary part of the transition to supply redundant functionality for all fashions. However, some fashions is not going to be transitioned to the brand new facility and can finally be phased out, Copeland mentioned in an announcement asserting the choice. 

Some fashions started transitioning in December and each crops will proceed to fabricate CR, CS and CF fashions till round September when manufacturing on the Reynosa plant will finish. 

The Atit facility was acquired when Emerson Climate Technologies when it bought the Kirloskar Copeland Ltd three way partnership in 2006.
