The Health and Human Services Agency’s 2024 Live Well San Diego Public Health Champion Awards Ceremony was held on Friday, April 5, 2024. Director’s Award

Wilma J. Wooten, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Wilma Wooten has been with the County since 2001, serving because the Deputy Health Officer; then promotion to Public Health Officer and Director for Public Health Services, in 2007; and persevering with as Public Health Officer, in 2022.
