The Narcotics Control Bureau is set to summon Bollywood Deepika Padukone‘s manager Karishma in connection to a drug case that has emerged during investigations in the Sushant Singh Rajput death probe.

Now, according to ANI, Deepika’s manager has sought exemption from the investigation till September 25 on the grounds of ill health. The statement from NCB read, “Karishma Prakash, actor Deepika Padukone’s manager, has sought exemption from Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) investigation till 25th September on the grounds of ill health.”

Recently, Times Now reported that a few drug chats that came under NCB’s scrutiny had mentions of individuals with initials ‘D’ and ‘K’. While D has allegedly been identified as Deepika, ‘K’ is Karishma who is a KWAN Talent Management Agency employee. The news channel also stated that Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan are likely to be quizzed by the NCB soon.

Meanwhile, Deepika is currently in Goa for the shoot of her upcoming film helmed by Shakun Batra.
