From headlining Bollywood movies to creating vogue statements, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has been breaking all Punjabi stereotypes like a professional. Diljit’s current Mumbai live performance was memorable for a lot of causes. From star-studded occasion, his grand entry to his interplay with followers. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Diljit gave followers a glimpse of the live performance. The video captures Diljit coming into the stage in his assertion outfit then lower to him interacting with followers from the stage. Speaking about breaking the Punjabi stereotype, Diljit heard saying in Punjabi. He stated, “They said Punjabis can’t do fashion and I said, I will show you. They said Punjabis can’t act in films, I showed them I could. They said Punjabis can’t go to Mumbai, and I proved them wrong. They said Punjabis can’t sell tickets for the bar arena, I showed them the stadium packed at my concert.”
Announcing his Vancouver live performance, he wrote, “DIL-LUMINATI TOUR 27th April BC STADIUM VANCOUVER. 2 Weeks To GO.” The Mumbai live performance that occurred on Saturday was a star-studded affair, with celebrities flocking to witness Diljit Dosanjh’s electrifying efficiency. Bollywood celebrities together with Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, Aparshakti Khurana, Varun Dhawan, Tamannaah Bhatia, and others graced the occasion.
Meanwhile, on the work entrance, Diljit is being lauded for his position in Amar Singh Chamkila movie, directed by Imtiaz Ali.
The movie takes a deep look into the life and legacy of the legendary Punjabi artist, Amar Singh Chamkila, with Diljit essaying the position of the singer, and Parineeti Chopra portraying his spouse, Amarjot.
