Donald E. “Donny” Taylor, III, 33, of Mingo Junction, OH, formerly of Brilliant, OH, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born April 7, 1987, in Wheeling, WV. Donny worked for 15 years out of Laborers Local 809. He was Methodist by Faith and loved sports and shooting pool. He enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State.
Donny loved helping others so much that he continued giving the gift of life even after his passing by donating his organs and tissue.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald E. and Shelby Taylor, Sr. and his maternal grandparents, Shirley Shaffer and Glenn Justice.
Surviving are his father, Donald E. Taylor, Jr. of Brilliant, OH; his mother, Jeanette (Justice) Forst and her husband Frank Forst of New Alexandria, OH; his wife, April (Lucas) Taylor, whom he married, May 20, 2020; three step-children, Zanea, Xaron and Zowyn VanHorn all of the home; three siblings, Tabitha Ruttencutter and her fiance Ian Davis of St. Clairsville, OH, Zachary Taylor of Steubenville, OH, and Ashley (Patrick) Deemer of St. Clairsville, OH.
Friends will be received to celebrate Donny’s life at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Masks are required.
