If you’ve been hiding a secret talent in the closet, this might be your chance at stardom.

Drayton Entertainment, which operates Huron Country Playhouse and several other theatres in Southwestern Ontario, is calling for amateur performers — solo or groups — to put their hidden talent for singing, dancing, comedy, juggling, magic, weird tricks or anything else entertaining to the test with a video submission by Oct. 6.
The videos (of four minutes or less) for the Great Community Talent Search will be judged by a Drayton team, and nine will be selected to perform at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge on Oct. 16 where they will be taped by a professional film crew.
Each of the top nine contestants will have their talent video shared as part of a special Drayton Entertainment digital series airing later this fall, leading up to an online audience vote for the winner in December.
The winner will receive a “Golden Ticket Package” that includes tickets to shows at all five Drayton Entertainment locations in 2022, plus dinner and accommodation for an overnight stay near the venue.
