New Delhi: The first look of Sunny Deol’s, extremely anticipated sequel to ‘Gadar’, was launched on Republic Day 2023. Taking to Instagram, Sunny shared the primary poster of ‘Gadar 2’ which featured the movie’s launch date. ‘Gadar 2’ is slated to be launched on 11 August 2023.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are reuniting for Gadar 2. The movie is directed by Anil Sharma, who had directed the unique, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001).

In the caption, he wrote, “Hindustan Zindabaad Hai….Zindabaad Tha.. .aur Zindabaad Rahega! This Independence Day, we bring to you the biggest sequel in Indian cinema after two decades. #Gadar2 releasing in Cinemas on 11th August 2023”

The new poster confirmed Sunny again in her Tara Singh avatar, wielding an enormous hammer whereas wanting ferocious.

Helmed by Director-Producer Anil Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios, the film stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles. 

Sharing his pleasure over the primary poster launch, director and producer Anil Sharma stated in an announcement, “Gadar – Ek Prem Katha isn’t my film but it’s people’s film and dynamically shifted the paradigm of the Indian film industry.
