Upasna Singh, who is known for her impeccable comic timing and popular dialogues like ‘Abba, Jabba’ and ‘I am still 22 Years Hot, Sexy & Glamorous’ is all set to return to TV with Gangs of Filmistan. The seasoned actress was once a part of successful shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show and her character of Kapil’s bua was loved by everyone. However, when TKSS shutdown and few team members like Sunil Grover, Sugandha Mishra, Ali Asgar parted ways even Upasna was not seen in the show. During an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, the actress went on to share that she still shares a good bond with Kapil Sharma and just because they are not working together, doesn’t mean they have become enemies.

“I am connected with Kapil and we often speak to each other over the phone. In fact, he was to sing in my directorial debut Punjabi film and we had even met each other for the same. He is a very nice person. Many people try to float rumours that we are enemies just because we are not working with each other it doesn’t mean we are enemies. It happens you don’t always work with the same people. I have worked in films also, but that doesn’t mean I will keep working with the same people,” shared the Loafer actress.

Upasna Singh, who worked with Kapil Sharma, Sumona Chakravarti and Kiku Sharda in two shows, is all praise for them and says they are still good friends, “I’ve had great time working with Kapil and team and they are fantastic people. I have some beautiful memories with them. It will always be with me. It’s not like he doesn’t call me, or we don’t talk to each other. There is no animosity. In fact, I worked with him twice in between. We all are good friends. Kapil is very sweet to me and he speaks to me nicely. Even Kiku Sharda and Sumona are great people to work with. I worked with Ali Asgar also. I miss Ali ji in this show because I like working with him and I am used to working with him. But he is doing another show,” she said.
