This summer, I did the powered flight program and spent some awesome time with my family!

Following graduation, I hope to become a pilot or a public affairs officer.

(During the pandemic), I’ve learned to appreciate all the time you have with your friends and family because you never know when you won’t be able to interact with them or be in their presence.

JUNIOR YEAR | 2019: Played in 94 sets…member of the starting rotation for 22 contests…combined for 157 kills and 159 blocks…registered a career-high 13 kills in the Falcons’ home win over San Diego State…also reached double-digit kills against Boise State (11), Fresno State (11), UNLV (10) and Nevada (10)…hit a season-high .462 against Navy and San Jose State, registering seven kills on 13 attempts, with one error, during both matches…accounted for a season-high five blocks (all assisted) during two home matches (Denver, Wyoming)…earned a solo stop in four matches…added 10 service aces, 74 digs and eight assists…recorded a personal-best three aces at Nevada…equaled personal-best dig tally with four against San Diego State.

 
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2018: Saw action in 92 sets, before missing the final seven matches with illness…member of the starting rotation for 22 contests…accounted for 76 total blocks on the year, including 67 assisted blocks to debut in 10th on the Academy’s Division I single-season standings…posted a team-leading 10 blocks (one solo, career-best nine assisted) against San Jose State…also accounted for the team’s second-highest single-match blocking performances of the year after tallying seven blocks against both Samford and New Mexico…notched a pair of career-high solo stops against Loyola Maryland and Wyoming…led the team in blocking during 12 contests…also accounted for 82 kills, 26 digs, four assists and one service…tallied a season-best eight kills against Loyola Maryland, while also notching the first assist in that match…tallied a career-high four digs against Valparaiso…collected first collegiate ace during the home opener against McNeese State.

 
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2017: Played in 78 sets…member of the starting rotation for four matches…tallied 57 kills, 32 blocks (two solo, 30 assisted) and 21 digs on the year…recorded a season-high nine kills at Fresno State…assisted on a season-best five blocks against South Dakota…also notched the first of two solo stops during that match for a season-high six total blocks…recorded a season-best three digs against both Southern Utah and Colorado State.

 
HIGH SCHOOL | CLUB TEAM: Cathedral Catholic High School…earned three letters in volleyball…coached by Julianna Evans…member of the team that won the Division II state title as a senior…selected as the Player of the Match following the San Diego CIF semifinal game against Canyon Crest Academy (10 kills, seven blocks)…lettered four years in track and field…CIF champion in the triple jump (2016)…member of teams that won the league and CIF titles all four years…named Freshman Athlete of the Meet at the 2014 Freshman/Sophomore Invitational…earned Sophomore of the Meet honors the following year…served as team captain for both the volleyball and track teams…member of the Interact Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes…named to the Honor Roll all four years…four-year member of the California Scholarship Federation…competed at the club level for Wave Volleyball Club…coached by Marie Zidek and Mike Placek…member of the team that won the bronze medal at the 15 Junior Nationals…qualified for Junior Nationals three times.

 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Craig and Melinda Galloway…father played football and ran track at Oregon State University…has two younger siblings…nickname is Cam…majoring in political science…future plans include working in the science field or attending pilot training…served as squadron’s Character Officer…named to the Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s List…hobbies include taking care of plants and making YouTube videos with friends…completed the Academy’s Powered Flight program over the summer…also served as the lead of the Triple Threat Action Team, which aims to combat racism and create a culture accepting of diversity at USAFA…member of Cadet Squadron 32.

HEAD COACH KEITH BARNETT: Cam is resilient and springy … she’s adaptable to a new system and has an incredible buy in. She’s been a three-year starter for us at two positions, and she’s so effective on the court against any – and every – size player. We will be thrilled if Cam is healthy and able to be a contributor for a fourth year.
