Each week during the fall sports season the Daily Post will honor a Fans Choice Fall Athlete of the Week based on fan voting during the week at www.gwinnettprepsports.com.
Voting begins by Monday morning and closes at noon on Thursday. The winner will be honored in the print and web versions of the Daily Post.
This week’s candidates are:
Last week: Won the Region 4-AAAAAAA championship with a time of 19 minutes, 7 seconds
Last week: Went 5-for-7 with a triple, four RBIs and three stolen bases in a doubleheader sweep of Savannah Christian in the Class A Private state playoffs
Last week: Went 6-for-6 with a double, two RBIs, four runs and three stolen bases in a doubleheader sweep of Effingham County in the Class AAAAAA state playoffs
Last week: Struck out 28 batters and allowed only one hit in a doubleheader sweep, both shutouts, against Newnan in the Class AAAAAAA state playoffs
