ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference CEO board voted unanimously on Friday to not play fall sports through November 30th due to concerns surrounding the Coronavirus Pandemic. This decision leaves the University of Alaska Anchorage Volleyball and Cross-Country Running teams without a season. Both teams have the freedom to return to organized practice if they choose, according to the CEO Board. The GNAC will revisit its decision on October 15th, and determine if sports will resume after November 30th.
