Today is World News Day in Fiji and the world. It’s an ambitious, worldwide initiative. It is intended to draw global public attention to the role that journalists play providing trustworthy news and information that serves citizens and democracy.

World News Day brings more than 300 news organisations together.

They shine a light on the critical role of global fact-based journalism in the current and concerning climate change crisis.
