To play or not to play? Imagining the fall in Greater Cincinnati without sports seems incomprehensible. But welcome to 2020.

As experts grapple with how and when our kids will return to school, the return to the field, court or course is further in limbo.

On Thursday, The Enquirer continues its partnership with the Regional COVID Communications Center (RC3) in discussing sports and our children in the age of COVID.

Kathrine Nero will talk with Dr. Alaba Robinson, a pediatrician with Mercy Health, and Jan Wilking, athletic director for Wyoming City Schools and vice president on OSHSAA Board of Directors. They will discuss the back and forth of this decision on kids returning to sports, who should make it and how parents can be sure their children stay safe.

If you have questions about your child’s participation in sports, please submit them below. And join in the discussion live on Coffee Break with Kathrine, at 10 a.m. Thursday on The Enquirer’s Facebook page.
