Head of India’s Bihar State Quits to Form New Alliance, PTI Says

Nitish Kumar, chief minister of the japanese Indian state of Bihar, resigned on Sunday, ending an alliance along with his major native political accomplice Rashtriya Janata Dal, accordingBloomberg Terminal to the Press Trust of India.

“Things were not working out well, therefore I had to resign,” PTI quoted Kumar as saying after the transfer. “Will leave the earlier alliance and form a new alliance.”
