On Thursday, Heart of America Conference commissioner Lori Thomas, emailed the various school’s athletic directors that the conference plans to start fall sports on schedule.

Culver-Stockton Athletic Pat Atwell told WGEM the new.

Atwell would go on to talk about how he’s planning to get his programs ready.

“We want to get the kids back, so our job in the next month is to make sure all our plans are in place to do it as safely as possible. So, were working with team doctors, athletic trainers, heart task force, to get all our plans in place to be as safe as absolutely possible in this environment, to hold fall sports…so that’s our goal.”

He would go on to add.

“It’s important and I know our parents and our faculty ,our staff and our administration want it done as safely as possible so that’s our job that’s our commitment to do it as safely as possible. But I know the kids want to play, desperately, and so we want to facilitate that to the best of our abilities.”
