States to resolve on closure of colleges, non-emergency industrial actions

New Delhi:

The Commission for Air Quality Management on Thursday determined to implement measures underneath stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan in view of the worsening air high quality within the Delhi-NCR.

Following are the measures prescribed underneath stage IV.

1. Ban on the use of four-wheeled diesel gentle motor automobiles in Delhi-NCR; BS-VI, important and emergency companies automobiles exempted.

2. Ban on entry of vans aside from electrical and CNG ones in Delhi; these carrying important commodities exempted.

3. Ban on building and demolition works in linear public initiatives resembling highways, flyovers, overbridges, energy transmission, pipelines in Delhi-NCR.

4. Closure of all industries that aren’t working on clear fuels in NCR ordered, even in areas which don’t have PNG infrastructure and provide, aside from the fuels as per the usual checklist of authorized fuels for NCR. Industries like milk and dairy models and people concerned in manufacturing of life-saving medical gear or gadgets, medicine and medicines shall, nevertheless, be exempted from these restrictions.

5. States to resolve on closure of colleges, non-emergency industrial actions, odd-even scheme for automobiles.

6. Central, state governments might resolve on allowing work at home for his or her staff.

7. Ban on Delhi-registered diesel-run medium and heavy items automobiles within the capital. Those carrying important commodities and offering important companies are exempted.
