NEW DELHI (Reuters) -Rising crude oil costs are a trigger for concern for the world’s third-largest importer of the commodity, India’s oil secretary Pankaj Jain mentioned on Wednesday.

As a consuming nation any improve in costs will trigger concern and anxiousness, Jain mentioned at an business occasion, referring to the “geopolitical premium” in crude costs.

If oil costs proceed to remain larger for a month longer, oil advertising firms will take an applicable resolution, the secretary mentioned, when requested if there’s a case for rising retail gas costs.
