STEVENS POINT – The Evergreens missed an extra point that would have tied the game and the Panthers responded with a touchdown drive capped off by Jaybreal Palbrach’s 4-yard run to defeat D.C. Everest.

D.C. Everest got the ball back one final time to try to tie the game but Stevens Point forced the Evergreens to turn the ball over on downs.

Stevens Point outgained D.C. Everest 284-191 and held an 81/2 minute advantage in time of possession.

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Leo Brostowitz’s 293 rushing yards and three touchdowns powered the Red Raiders to a win over the Polar Bears.

Brostowitz found the end zone on runs of 19, 41 and 80 yards.

Teal Lucas added 82 rushing yards and two touchdowns for Wisconsin Rapids.

MARKESAN – The Falcons ran for 265 yards in the win over the Hornets.

Amherst, which scored 29 straight points after falling behind 8-0, was led by Landon Moe and Michael Benjamin who rushed for 145 and 103 yards, respectively.

SPENCER – After a back-and-forth game, Samuel Cropp sealed the nail-biting win for Bangor with a 37-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Tanner Jones and Cropp powered the Cardinals’ run game. Jones racked up 119 rushing yards and one touchdown, while Cropp rushed for 94 yards and the game-winning score. Jones also had a 12-yard receiving score. Ashton Michek completed 4-of-8 passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns to lead Bangor through the air.

Brock Bennington was a workhorse for Spencer/Columbus, compiling 223 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries. Bennington also booted a 43-yard field goal.

LAKELAND – Mosinee built a 20-6 halftime lead and cruised to a win over Lakeland.

Trevor Garski completed 23-of-38 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns to lead Mosinee’s offense, while Barnes Bunkelman added 80 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Keagan Jirschele was Garski’s favorite target, catching 10 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown.

Jacob Hayes took a kickoff 67 yards for a Lakeland touchdown.

LAKE HOLCOMBE – Caleb Borchardt and Cooper Diedrich combined for five rushing touchdowns to lead the Bluejays over Lake Holcombe.

Diedrich finished with158 yards rushing and two touchdowns, while Borchardt had 60 yards rushing and three touchdowns.

Diedrich also threw for one score and Borchardt caught a pass for a touchdown.

Athens outgained Lake Holcombe 460-140 while running just 30 plays, compared to 56 for Lake Holcombe.
